With Levitate, Galarian Weezing is only weak against Psychic types which aren’t all that common in competitive play. Pretty handy considering it is one of Galarian Weezing’s weaknesses. It has a really high Defense stat and can possess the ability Levitate, which makes the Pokémon immune to Ground type moves. Galarian Weezing is now one of the better Tanks in the game. That is until, Sword and Shield was released and Weezing received a fresh coat of paint in the form of a regional variant. Back then, this Pokémon was just a regular ol’ Poison type that barely had any impact on the game. Weezing was part of the original 151 Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Locations: East Lake Axewell, Lake of Outrage, Slumbering Weald, East Lake Axewell, Giant’s Cap, Hammerlocke Hills, Motostoke Riverbank, North Lake Miloch (Max Raid Battle) It’s also a surprisingly decent Special Wall with a Special Defense stat that can go as high as 339 when maxed out. It has high Attack and Speed making it perfect for a stat boosting move like Dragon Dance or Curse to enhance the next attack that it will use.

In a competitive turn based game like Pokémon, a free turn can definitely be a huge plus. It essentially gives you a free turn to set something up. Disguise allows the bearer to avoid damage for one attack, in a similar way to Substitute. What lands Mimikyu on a list like this is its ability Disguise. This adorable Pikachu clone may seem like a harmless lil critter but it actually packs a punch. Pixilate causes all Normal-type attacking moves used by the Pokémon to become Fairy-type, and increase in power by 20%. If all these weren’t enough to merit Sylveon a place in your lineup, then maybe it’s hidden ability, Pixilate might change your mind. It also has access to powerful Fairy type moves like Dazzling Gleam or Misty Explosion. You’ll be hard pressed to find holes in Sylveon’s stats with its Speed being the only real outlier. What sets it apart however, is it’s absurdly well rounded stats. As one of the Eeveelutions, Sylveon is without a doubt a solid Pokémon. Sylveon is the poster child of Fairy type Pokémon. So if you’re planning to load up on Fairy types on your team, here are your best options. So strong that they absolutely destroy Dragon Pokémon, which are among the most powerful in the game. Despite their appearance, Fairy types are actually really strong. But as we all know, looks can be deceiving. Most Fairy type Pokémon are actually cute, adorable, and non-threatening. Ever since Fairy types were introduced way back in Generation VI, it has been a staple in competitive Pokémon battles.
